Referring Patients to Alma Psychology

FOR GENERAL PRACTITIONERS

We are registered under Medicare's Better Access program to provide therapy for a variety of presentations
(see Areas of Expertise above)

Most of our patients are referred by GP's using Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP)
(MBS Items 2700 & 2701 for GP's who have not undertaken mental health skills training; 2715 & 2717 for those who have)
This enables access to 10 sessions per calendar year (January 1 to 31 December)

Team Care Arrangement (TCA) (MBS Items 721 & 723) enables access to a further 5 sessions.

Send the MHCP or TCA to admin@almapsychology.com.au and we will contact your client upon receipt.
REFER NOW

FOR PSYCHIATRISTS

We welcome referrals from Psychiatrists under Mental Health Care Plans (MBS Items 291 and 293).

FOR THIRD PARTY REFERRERS

Alma Psychology accepts referrals from a range of third party agencies.

Written approval for psychological services must be obtained before attending the first appointment
from the agencies involved.
